Jerry had a bad life

Jerry's life must have been horrible but thats because he didn't study in school he worked as a grocer in a super market and thats what got him into that horrible predicament so that why kids stay in school if you dont want to live the way Jerry did. Jerry didn't work hard he just did bad stuff during his childhood.
